Vintage With A Heart
This months challenge on the Crafty Individuals Blog is Vintage 'With a Heart'.
I've made my piece using a small photo frame that I bought months ago for 10p. It somehow resurfaced after our move a few months ago.
I covered the frame with some french text paper, added a few small pieces of my hubby's plasterers scrim and inked it over.
The gorgeous picture of the little girl is Crafty Individuals. I then added a few bits and pieces and voila.

Finally........
Yay!! I've finally posted after a couple of months of virtually no crafting. It's seemed like a heck of a lot longer, I can tell you.
Hopefully my 'mojo' will be here to stay so fingers crossed.
This piece is for a swap I'm hosting and I am so behind schedule. Sorry girls.
Hope your swaps will be worth the long wait.

Bookmark
Bookmarks are the 'make' this week on ABAA. I like to read a fair bit, so they always come in handy.
I used various papers to cover the card and then distress inked it. Added a bit of meshy stuff (hubby gave me a huge roll of it as he uses it for work) and then added my stamped images. The stamps I've used are Lavinia Stamps, A Tim Holtz one and the bee (if you can see them!!) is by Anna Griffin.
Finally I embossed it with crystal embossing powder all over.
Thanks for looking. x

Metal
I bougt a cheap notebook last week and decided to make my own cover and use my BIA to put it all back together. I took a piece of cardboard and spritzed it with glimmer mist and gesso then added some gold acrylic paint.
I stamped my 'Mona' and embossed it and used some more cardboard covered in gold paint to represent metal. Hope it's not cheating!!! Then thougt I'd better add something made of metal so I added the jigsaw piece.
Thanks for looking. x

Do I Look Pretty?
I made this canvas which fits in with 2 Challenges this week.... Alter a Canvas on BAA and You've Been Framed on LotsToDo.
I finally managed to find some smallish canvasses after months of looking and off I went. I painted the backside of the canvas with acrylic paint and then added some meshy stuff that I had. Using a Adirondack inkpad I gave it some colour then in various places I added some distress crackle paint.
Finally I added my bits and bobs. Am really pleased with the way it turned out (much better than the rubbish photo that I've managed to take of it, lol)

Peeled Paper
On 2cre8art, Peeled Paper is the technique to try. I decided to make a tag and then stamped and distress powder embossed the image. I stamped my image onto card and coloured her in using Distress inks and then covered her in PVA glue. Once dried I stuck her down and then added the circles using white acrylic paint.
