Ruth

I bought some old photos and cabinet cards a while ago. This photo has written on the back of it: Ruth aged 1 year. 1916.
There are a lot of kind people who put photos on their blogs for people to print off and use so I thought I would do the same.
Hope you like her. x

Wednesday Stamper...Angels

For my tag I used scattered straw/walnut stain/aged mahogany distress inks rubbed on my mat and spritzed with water. Dragged my tag through it then dried. Then I spritzed some distress re-nker and perfect pearls over it for the glimmery effect.
The little cherub stamp at the top and bottom was a stamp sent to me ages ago from the US that I forgot I had.
Thanks for looking.

Pretty In Pink

Nancy, very kindly let me host this week on Gothic Arches
I chose the theme 'Pretty In Pink' mainly as I have 2 daughters and as you can imagine, they have a lot of pink things :)
I created my arch using Once Upon A Time paper and then added my music paper and my image.
Finally I used some of my gorgeous pink flowers (that I love).

Check out the all new Gothic arches site. Looks fantastic!! x

'Mary 2 Times'

On the LotsToDo Forum recently Sam very kindly offered to do us all a bit of rubber stamp shopping from her local craft shop.
Sue, from Paper Paradise very kindly gave us all some Art Doll kits to alter.

Mine I named 'Mary 2 Times' as my first doll had a little accident due to my youngest daughter, so this is actually the second attempt.
She is made usimg mountboard coloured with Perfect Pearls and the arms and legs are added along with the head and some shiny stones.

A Pair Of Glasses

This was the theme on the LotsToDo Challenge Blog.
I did intend to use an actual pair of glasses for this, but couldn't come uo with anything :(
So instead I inked over the glasses with distress ink to make the glasses shape. I then inked my PaperArtsy lady onto a piece of card and chalked her in.
Finally added the wording and the pair of glasses shape.

I went to a craft class last week on Perfect Pearls and this is where I created the background using the Pearls and rubber stamps. Then the theme this week on Sunday Stampers is... Games, so thought this would be perfect.

Moving Home

As you will be able to tell, my blog hasn't been updated for weeks. The reason is that I've been moving house and all the hassles that go with it have prevented me from doing much crafting.
My mojo has deserted m etoo, so that hasn't helped :(
Hope to be back to normal soon.

The picture makes it look so white, but the paper is actually white with green patterns on.

Postage Art

This weeks InchByInch challenge is Postage Art. I've been busy making inchies the past few days for a couple of swaps so this gave me a bit of inspiration. Two of them are stamps with a postmark stamped image on a background of paper painted with acrylic paint. The other is a stamp and postmark that came off an envelope which I thought looked quite good.

There is also blog candy to be won from this challenge by Purple Faerie.
The link is: http://purplefaeriepc.blogspot.com/2008/05/blog-candy.html

On Monday I stamped onto tissue paper then PVA'd it to my arch. I then forgot about it until last night. I then distressinked it and added some finishing touches. The effect looks much better in real life.

Boys

'Boys' is the theme on Sunday Stampers this week. Looking through my stamps I realised I didn't have any 'boy' ones so luckily I found a stamped image sent to me by one of my crafting friends.
