Babies

Babies is the theme on My Time To Craft this week.
I made this scrapbook page of my little 'un. Not exactly a 'baby' but only 11 months old.
Love her little smile. xx

Seashells

On Tag You're It this week you have to incorporate a picture slide into your work.
I made my tag and then added the image and then stamped a seashell onto mountboard.
Finally I added some words.

Joker

I made my first ever skinny today for the Sea-Gals Challenge. The theme was jokers/jesters.
I found the little playing card and thought he looked quite sweet. I embossed some swirls on the background then added a letter and some words.

Cabbage!!

Embossed...is the theme of Saturday's Workout today. I made a skinny (my second). The background is distress inked and then embossed in silver some flourishes.
I found the image of the lady and looking at her made me think of a saying that my nan used to say, so hence the cabbage looking part.

Rainbow Tag

Monotone Rainbow Colours are the theme on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog and as tags are my favourite things to make it just had to be one.
The background is using Distress Inks and then the bird stamp by Tim Holtz. The Paperartsy word stamps are on mountboard to give some embellishment.

Feeling Fruity!!

The challenge on this weeks My Time To Craft is.. Tutti Fruitti.
I found some old papers that I had hidden away and on one piece found the pin wheel, so I decided to make one for my ATC. On further inspection found a watermelon pic so that just had to go on.

Sisterhood Of The Blogging Stampers 17

I joined the Sisterhood today and hope to make some more crafting friends.

I started crafting a couple of years ago when I decided to take up scrapbooking. I had tons of photos of my twp daughters and wanted to make good use of them.

Now I love making Fat Books, ATC's , Altered Art, basically anything that I can.
Look forward to looking through my 'sisters' blogs.

So proud!!!

My friend and fellow crafter, Chris, kindly gave me this award. Thank you so much as it's nice to be praised by other people.

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contribute to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.

3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.

4. The Award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte Y Pico” blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

Here are my five choices: Hilda, Ann, Hels, Sam, Angie

Your works inspire me .

Tag It!!

This weeks challenge on LotsToDo Challenges is.... Tag It!!. I love making tags so this was a real pleasure to do. I used Adirondack and Tim Holtz Distress Inks for the tag itself and then stamped on one of my favourite images. The small tag (and ribbon) came off a pair of shorts that I bought for my holiday and decided to combine the two.

Paris

The theme this week on Gothic Arches is... We'll Always Have Paris. This is my first make since my hols and really enjoyed doing it. I found a French novel this morning in a charity shop for 10p so that was perfect for the background. The inks and stamped images are all Tim Holtz.

Been away!!

My blog has been a bit neglected as of late as I've been away on holiday. I went to Tenerife for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time.
I got back 2 days ago and am ready to get crafting again.
