Button Fairy

I've seen these on a few sites and wanted to make my own. I used 'Be Yourself' stamp by Tim Holtz cos I think she's so cute!! Basically you take your image with wings and thread buttons onto wire for a tail. Simple but effective.

I am hosting a Distressed Tag Swap on the Lotstodo forum and these are 2 thatI've done.
Both are coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then stamped with images.
I love tags!!!

Jewellery

I made the necklace and kilt pin at a craft class recently. Really enjoyed doing these as it was something different for me.

Mona ATC

'Mona' is my favourite image. For this ATC I used various colours of 'Inkabilities' and with a sponge I dabbed my glossy card until I was happy with the colours. I stamped Mona using black Stazon ink. then added some tiles to spell her name.

Altered Canvas

I covered the canvas using a couple of layers of acrylic paint then added a few bits and pieces: an image of a woman which was distressed using Tim Holtz Distress inks, tissue paper stamped with my image and then coated with pva glue, buttons sewn on, a chinese charm, etc, etc. was really pleased with the result.

Altered Case

I recently bought this case for £1 and thought I'd try and 'alter' it. I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks and covered it all over. Next I took some chipboard letters to spell my name and used Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink to colour them. Then I stapled on some bits of ribbon.The label is from K and Co. Finally I added a bottlecap filled with a Crafty Individual picture and used 3D gloss to add a glaze. Almost forgot: I tied fibres round the handle.
