Mail Slider

Was sorting through my stuff this morning and came across this mail slider that I bought months ago. Thought I'd try and alter it.
I alcohol inked the glass on one side and then stamped Tim Holtz 'Be Yourself' stamp on the other side of it using black stazon.
The cardboard is distress inked using various brown colours and then the clock image and other images stamped. To add a bit of interest I decided to use a frame over the clock.
Lastly I painted some Moonshadow Gold Dubloons Ink over the wings, clock and around the edge of the slider.

I'm A Laydeeee-Tag

My inspiration seems to have left me so I decided to take part in a challenge on Sunday Stampers blog to help me. The challenge this week was 'I'm A Laydeeee' and as I love tags I decided to combine the two.
I distress inked the tag using Vintage Photo and Brushed Corduroy, then spritzed with some water. I inked a stamped image given to me by a friend and chalked it to give a bit of colour.
Finally I added some ribbons.
